Even today’s scientific achievements are nothing compared to the feats of Hiranyakashipu and Hiranyaksha in the Krita-yuga. Hiranyakashipu brought the five elements under his control and investigated the realms of earth, sky, and water. He gloated over his supremacy over the physical world. This pride blinded him to such an extent that he tortured his own son! What was the fruit of all his investigations?
