As part of our efforts to include more people in the seva of spreading Bhagawan's message, we invited those who would like to join our content team as volunteers. We requested them to submit articles on any one of the two themes: 'Celebrating the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan' and 'The Glory of Chitravati'. We will be sharing some of the impressive entries we received as part of this campaign. We thank all those who participated and sent in their entries, and we pray to Bhagawan to shower His blessings on each one of you.
As the universe unites to commemorate the 100th birthday of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on November 23, 2025, it becomes imperative to reflect upon the profound essence and significance of His life and teachings. Born in the humble village of Puttaparthi in 1926, Bhagawan's teachings and glory transcend every boundary, touching millions with His message of universal love and selfless service.
Bhagawan, through his teachings, emphasises the unity of all faiths, often stating, "There is only one religion; the religion of Love." His life was a testament to this belief, fostering harmony among diverse religious and social communities. By advocating the principle of "Love All, Serve All," He inspired a number of individuals to rise above narrow prejudices and embrace the broader race, the human family. Even after a century, the crest of human values stands firm in the foundation of love and service.

Recognising education, health and spirituality as pivotal pillars of societal progress, Bhagawan established a chain of super speciality hospitals, general hospitals and clinics providing free services to the ones in need, educational institutions which provide the best education incorporated with human values, an array of drinking water projects, a university, numerous auditoriums and ashrams. All these are beautiful examples of how Swami conformed to his own message that “Service to Humanity is service to God.” His vision of alleviating human suffering without discrimination also instils values of compassion and integrity. Being inspired by the divine himself, the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations all around the world work together to strengthen and expand the messages of Bhagawan globally and firmly. The sacred Abode of Peace, Prasanthi Nilayam, witnesses human lives being transformed through selfless service.
He urged individuals to internalise the five human values: Satya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace), Prema (Love), and Ahimsa (Non-violence), asserting that true transformation begins within. His discourses, filled with timeless wisdom, continue to guide seekers on the path of self-realisation and moral rectitude.
The 100th birthday of Bhagawan is more than a mere chronological milestone; it is a clarion call to rejuvenate and recommit to His ideals. In an era marked by rapid technological advancements and moral dilemmas, His teachings offer a compass, directing humanity towards a future anchored in love, empathy, and unity.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s legacy thrives through the selfless acts of His devotees worldwide. From disaster relief efforts to community service projects, the global Sai community embodies His spirit of giving. As we celebrate this centenary, it's a moment to introspect and reaffirm our commitment to His vision. In the words of Bhagawan, "The end of education is character. The end of knowledge is love." Let us, on this auspicious occasion, pledge to carry forward His message, ensuring that love, service, and righteousness remain the cornerstones of our lives.
